The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Krasno

East of Krasno and the village of Devčići, a path leads to the Church of Our Lady of Krasno, built in the 18th century on the foundations of a medieval church. The most significant artistic feature of the church is the wooden coffered ceiling, painted with scenes from the lives of Jesus, Mary, and the saints, with Latin inscriptions, dating back to 1740. This has been a traditional gathering place for the people on August 15th for the Feast of the Assumption of Mary.
