Alan Hiking Lodge
The Alan Hiking Lodge (1,340 m) is located near the Veliki Alan Pass (1,414 m) along the transverse Velebit road, which connects Krasno and Jablanac via Mrkvište above Štirovača, near the upper station of the former industrial cable car. The lodge is open during the summer, staffed by members of the Sljeme Mountaineering Club from Zagreb, and in winter it can be used as a shelter.
Hiking Lodge Rules
Notify the person on duty in advance if you plan to stay overnight and present your mountaineering and personal ID.
Do not disturb the order and peace around or inside the lodge; observe complete silence from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
Keep the lodge and its surroundings clean, and take your trash with you.
Do not enter the dormitories wearing hiking boots.
Do not bring pets.
No smoking inside the lodge.
Use firewood, water, and lighting sparingly.
Follow the instructions of the lodge host.
