City museum of Senj
The Senj City Museum is housed in the Vukasović Palace, which belonged to one of the most prominent and influential families in Senj. The palace was built in the 14th/15th century in the Gothic-Renaissance style and is considered a masterpiece of secular architecture in the city of Senj.
The City Museum was founded on May 7, 1962, as a cultural and scientific institution tasked with collecting, preserving, organizing, studying, processing, presenting, and publishing museum and historical-cultural materials. The museum also serves an educational role and is dedicated to the care and preservation of the cultural and natural heritage of the city and its surroundings.

The Senj City Museum also includes a specialist library (Seniensia) with older and more recent archival material, a photo archive, and a small collection of artworks.
