Church sv. Marije od Arta

The church is located outside the city walls, near the seashore on Cape Art. It is known as a votive sailors’ church, which is why it was marked on nautical charts. Out of gratitude (ex-voto), sailors donated numerous paintings of shipwrecks and maritime accidents, as well as beautifully crafted ship models.
