Zavižan Mountain Lodge
The Zavižan Mountain Lodge is situated at an altitude of 1,594 meters. The lodge offers accommodation and small-scale catering services. It has a capacity of 29 beds in rooms, 40 seats in the dining area, and 20 seats on the terrace. The lodge is equipped with electricity, water, and a telephone.
Zavižan can be reached on foot, by bicycle, by car, or by bus. Nearby, there is also the highest mountain meteorological station in Croatia.
Hiking Lodge Rules
Notify the person on duty in advance if you plan to stay overnight and present your mountaineering and personal ID.
Do not disturb the order and peace around or inside the lodge; observe complete silence from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
Keep the lodge and its surroundings clean, and take your trash with you.
Do not enter the dormitories wearing hiking boots.
Do not bring pets.
No smoking inside the lodge.
Use firewood, water, and lighting sparingly.
Follow the instructions of the lodge host.
