Galathea Diving Center
The eastern coast of the Adriatic has been a sea route from the East to the West since ancient times. This ancient maritime route can still be traced today through the remains found both on land and beneath the sea.
Ancient coastal inhabitants and sailors left behind a system of fortifications above the sea to control this maritime route, while below the surface lie shipwrecks—those unfortunate vessels that never reached their destinations.
Nature, on the other hand, has taken care to create all the intrigue, beauty, and countless visual attractions offered by underwater cliffs and natural walls teeming with life.
The Galathea Diving Center gives you the opportunity to reconstruct history by diving at archaeological sites and the wrecks of modern ships—these museums in the depths—and to experience the present-day beauty of underwater gardens in one of the world’s most beautiful and best-preserved marine environments.
